Backdrop: The Life of a Heartbeat Bill

This spread was created for one of the two Spring 2019 issues for Backdrop Magazine. This spread was a particularly collaborative one due to the story length. At first, the story was really short, which offered a lot of space for the infographic. Then the story was developed to the point that the story by itself wouldn't even fit on the spread, let alone with a graphic. I remember working closely with the writer and managing editor, letting them know how much space was needed, how updated versions worked with the graphic, and how I could alter it to make it work. For such a simple spread, a lot of thought and collaboration went into it. Scroll down for the enlarged image.
